Chance gears up for the Olympics

In case anyone is wondering what Chance is doing for his day job these days,  here is a video that sums up his activities.

I should probably prep this video a little and say that the Olympic spirit is alive and well at our house. We went to a friend's house to watch and celebrate the opening ceremonies,  and we have been devoted followers of the nightly games, especially swimming and gymnastics.  Michael Phelps is a particular favorite over here at our house.  You just might have heard our cheering when he won his 22nd medal this past week.

The kids all had an Olympic party with friends.....Friday night for the older kids and Saturday night for the younger kids.

We had a spread of red, white and blue cookies, chips, popcorn,  crackers, salsa, M&M's, and viewed the games on the back of the house with the help of a projector.  Almost every neighborhood kid was at our house between the two nights and it was awesome.

Chance took things to the next level by actually practicing Olympic routines which brings me back to the video:  here is Chance practicing for the 2016 Olympics.

P.S. He says he really wants to try out for Olympic swimming,  which helps explain the photo of him diving off of the couch into a beanbag for practice:)
